Although the topic of conversation here at Al-Shifah Clinic, over the past few weeks has been based around “You are what you eat”. Digestion, is equally as important if not more. We learned this very valuable lesson during a long overdue catch up with a close friend. Amongst the chitter chatter, it dawned upon me that not only are you what you eat, but HOW you eat! … and the overall impact on your digestion!
I diligently listened to my friend as we delved deep into conversation, I began to notice that she did not chew her food more than twice. You can imagine what this does to ones digestion!
