Refreshing Ginger Tea Recipe
This simple ginger tea recipe which can be used for a variety of ailments. Traditionally used to promote circulation and aid digestion. Best of all you already have all of the ingredients on hand!
2 cups of Water
1 inch Freshly grated Ginger root (alternatively 1tspn Ginger powder)
1 tsp Honey to flavour the latte. (*Optional)
1/2 lime (Optional)
- Place water into a pot on high heat for 3 minutes.
- Add Ginger
- Add lime juice
- Continue to boil on high for an extra 5 minutes. Lower heat and simmer for a further 5mins
- Strain tea and pour into cup, when the tea has cooled add honey for flavouring.
* Note: Honey added to high temperatures kills off the medicinal properties of honey.
** May assist with dis-ease such as bloating, gas, poor circulation.
